Our first ultrasound was one of the sweetest moments of my life. Getting to see our little one swimming around on the screen brought tears to our eyes and tons of joys to our heart. This is the moment that our pregnancy became "real." Ryan and I didn't want to walk away from the screen. Baby K's heart was beating at a strong 176 bpm. The little arm and leg buds weren't very well-developed, but flapped away. We had the nurse make multiple copies of the pictures, so that we could send them to both sets of grandparents and one great grandmother. This was such a sweet moment that makes us yearn for the next one......all the way in April!!!
